By water: From the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) near Adams Creek and Oriental, NC, proceed toward New Bern following the marked channel. After going under the Neuse River Bridge, proceed to Red Day Marker 38. From there several boaters have followed the marks (below) to Bridgeton Boatworks:
#1: N 35⁰ 06.859′ W77⁰ 01.476′ (having about 8′ of water);
#2: N35⁰06.872′ W77⁰01.432′ (about 7.6′ of water);
#3: N35⁰06.877′ W77⁰01.402′ (about 7.4′ of water);
#4: N35⁰06.880′ W77⁰01.377′ (about 8.0′ of water);
#5: N35⁰06.886′ W77⁰01.355′ (about 8.8′ of water).
From here, you should be at the entrance to our boatyard’s docks. In the end of the travel lift slips, there is about 7′ to 7.5′ of water under normal wind conditions. If the wind direction is from the Northeast, the height of the river will rise and if it’s from the Southwest or Northwest, it will drop.
